There’s so much I can say about this show but the most important, and baffling thing is that it was cancelled way too soon. I mean really, only one season? One! First off Paul Feig and Judd Apatow wrote most of the episodes and they are brilliant. Their resumes speak for them selves. And the cast! One the best I’ve seen in a show. Linda Cardellini, Seth Rogen, James Franco, Jason Segel, John Francis Daley, Busy Philips, Samm Levine, Martin Star, and the list goes on. It even had Squints from Sand Lot! The stories were great, I mean everyone loves watching high school drama. Plus it was set in the 80s so you had some good throwback references. It had everything.
The show just never had a chance. Terrible time slot, it was doomed from the get go. The good thing is that it jump started a lot of the actors careers. It was brilliant while it lasted and it made quite an impact while it was on. All i got to say is thank God for reruns! Everyone can enjoy that which was one of the best show ever created.
